Out of Character Posting

The Centurions and the SLJ are busy washing their tights. Are you strong enough to stand guard against the coming storm?

Cheating is more than fine, especially when stress levels are high and RL has you over a barrel. The toughest part was you having to work 4 times as hard with 4 PCs at the start. Combining us all together will reduce the work load.

But most importantly, game or no, Here is hoping that Real Life starts letting up on you.

Depression I understand. You can always resolve the combats in a cinematic way, leaving dice out of the equation. When you feel like maybe just writing, if you ever feel like that. That is what I do, for one of my games, when the combats are really small wars.

I can, and have, made a die roll if it was something someone was doing spiffy and I wasn't sure how spiffy I exactly want it to be. Or in one large combat, three of the characters and the major villain faced off in the middle of the a sieging action with free roaming zombies. For that I did the combat, inside the narrated combat. This only works well for me and my players because I have a grasp on how their characters will react in situations. So they can give me some feedback before a scene, then I do the scene and whatever that comes up, that the player didn't cover, I have the character handle as I have seen the character act. There were a few hiccups at the start but we were all understanding and they are loving the game so it marshals on.
